About this role
TrueTandem seeks an experienced Azure Virtual Desktop engineer to design and optimize secure virtualized environments for federal intelligence customers using Microsoft Azure Government and GCC High. The role focuses on implementing zero-trust architecture, managing compliance with FedRAMP High standards, and supporting mission-critical cloud infrastructure modernization.
What you'll do
- Design and configure secure AVD environments across isolated impact levels (IL4-IL7)
- Implement conditional access, FSLogix profiles, and network segmentation policies for zero-trust security
- Automate deployments using Infrastructure as Code tools like Bicep and Terraform
- Monitor AVD performance and user experience via Azure Monitor and Log Analytics
- Collaborate with Identity and Endpoint Management teams on Intune and Entra ID integration
- Support Authority to Operate processes and maintain FedRAMP High / NIST 800-53 compliance
