You’ll leverage your expertise in ship hydrodynamics and CFD to design, simulate, and analyze maritime hull designs, directly collaborating with the CEO and AI team to build cutting-edge foundation models. This is a high-impact role for a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment.

What you'll do

  • Design, preprocess, simulate, and post-process hydrodynamics simulations.
  • Develop data pipelines to systematically train foundation models with hundreds/thousands of hull geometries.
  • Collaborate with the AI team on research problems, bridging CFD and machine learning.
  • Work directly with clients to define benchmark datasets and validation criteria.
  • Generate high-quality simulation data to improve AI models.
  • Advise the AI research team on nuances like free surface modeling and propeller-hull interaction.
