About this role
Varda Space Industries seeks a Construction Project Engineer to oversee the design, buildout, and commissioning of facilities and capital infrastructure projects at their El Segundo headquarters and future sites. You'll manage the complete project lifecycle while coordinating with internal teams, external contractors, and regulatory agencies to deliver mission-critical space manufacturing infrastructure.
What you'll do
- Oversee full lifecycle of multidisciplinary construction projects from scope development through closeout
- Support development of project scope, budgets, schedules, and resource plans with stakeholders and contractors
- Coordinate with internal teams including facilities, engineering, production, finance, EHS, and supply chain
- Manage interfaces with external contractors, vendors, and municipal/regulatory agencies
- Execute design and buildout phases of facility improvements and capital projects
- Ensure projects align with operational and manufacturing requirements
