About this role
Vast is seeking a Senior RF Engineer to develop and manage RF systems for next-generation commercial space stations and satellites. You'll own RF products from design through mission operations, coordinating across engineering disciplines and managing vendor relationships in a fast-paced aerospace environment.
What you'll do
- Own RF products through full lifecycle from development testing to mission service
- Serve as subject matter expert on RF components and their role in overall system architecture
- Plan design, manufacturing, testing, integration, and delivery schedules coordinating with cross-functional teams
- Define and execute acceptance, qualification, and vehicle-level checkout test plans
- Manage vendor relationships and communicate requirements, deliverables, and timelines
- Support mission operations as RF component subject matter expert
