About this role
Vercel seeks a Software Engineer to own the agentic infrastructure powering millions of builds daily, designing and operating scalable microservices that enable agents and developers to ship software at scale. You'll take end-to-end responsibility for build and deployment systems, driving reliability, performance, and developer experience across the platform.
What you'll do
- Own and evolve infrastructure powering Vercel's build and deployment lifecycle, including webhooks, database schemas, and scalable APIs
- Design and operate high-performance microservices processing millions of builds daily
- Lead end-to-end projects from opportunity identification through technical direction and delivery
- Collaborate across teams to align infrastructure with company goals and ensure seamless workflows
- Participate in on-call rotation and take responsibility for critical system reliability
- Contribute to open-source projects and establish scalability and reliability standards
