About this role
Verkada is seeking an Embedded UI Engineer to design and build intuitive interfaces for their cloud-managed access control devices with screens. You'll work on a constrained hardware environment while developing a reusable UI framework for future Verkada screen devices, balancing sophisticated user experiences with embedded system limitations.
What you'll do
- Design and implement user interfaces for embedded access control devices with screens
- Develop a UI framework for current and future Verkada screen-based products
- Solve complex technical problems in resource-constrained hardware environments
- Collaborate with UX designers and engineers to build intuitive customer experiences
- Own major product components and drive them from concept to completion
- Translate desktop and mobile design patterns to embedded device constraints
