About this role

Voleon seeks a Software Engineer to design and build scalable data infrastructure that supports AI/ML research and production workflows. You'll lead complex initiatives, mentor teammates, and shape the developer experience across the organization while working alongside ML researchers and experienced engineers.

What you'll do

  • Guide complex initiatives from requirements gathering through system design to deployment, evaluating dependent technologies
  • Build scalable data infrastructure including data cataloging, versioning, and lineage systems
  • Shape developer experience and abstractions to simplify infrastructure complexity for end users
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering and research staff
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders and ML researchers on data platform needs
  • Help define the team's technical roadmap and contribute to engineering culture
