What you'll do

  • Design and implement manufacturing systems, processes, and tooling for solid rocket motors and energetic materials with rigorous safety and quality standards
  • Lead scale-up of energetic manufacturing processes from development to full production, defining process controls and qualification criteria
  • Apply Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to improve safety, quality, yield, and throughput; monitor KPIs and defect rates
  • Oversee production operations for rocket motor assembly, chemical formulation, and hazardous materials handling with regulatory oversight
  • Create, review, and maintain SOPs and technical documentation; train operations personnel on procedures and best practices
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Safety, and Compliance to embed production practices throughout the product lifecycle
