About this role
Senior mechanical engineer specializing in test design and execution for defense and space propulsion systems. What you'll do
- Design and lead large-scale, high-risk test programs and complex test setups with custom fixtures
- Develop test strategies, optimize processes, and troubleshoot instrumentation and measurement systems
- Create technical drawings, 3D CAD models, and analyze measurement uncertainties
- Write specialized technical documents and provide expert guidance on communication and presentation strategies
- Coordinate verification and validation activities aligned with system requirements and program plans
- Manage vendor evaluations, procurement strategies, and small team coordination
