Mechanical Integration and Test Engineer
About this role
Voyager Lunar Systems seeks a Mechanical Integration and Test Engineer to lead integration planning, execution, and validation of spacecraft, rovers, and lunar systems. You'll manage test procedures, design ground support equipment, operate advanced test facilities, and collaborate across engineering disciplines to ensure mission-critical components meet performance requirements.
What you'll do
- Develop and execute integration and test procedures for mechanical components and spacecraft systems
- Design ground support equipment, fixtures, and tooling to support integration and testing operations
- Operate test facilities including shaker tables and thermal vacuum chambers
- Process test data, generate technical reports, and analyze results with design engineers
- Support design reviews from DFMA and DFT perspectives, and conduct readiness reviews
- Coordinate resources, scheduling, tooling calibration, and off-site third-party testing operations
