About this role
Voyager Technologies seeks a senior Systems Engineer IV to lead requirements definition, verification planning, and risk management on DoD and Missile Defense Agency programs. This role involves managing system-level engineering activities, cross-functional coordination, and serving as the primary technical contact for customers and suppliers on a mission-critical aerospace defense program.
What you'll do
- Lead development and maintenance of system, subsystem, and interface requirements with full traceability throughout the program lifecycle
- Develop and execute system-level verification and validation plans, procedures, and compliance matrices
- Plan and lead system-level verification events including reviews, inspections, and tests
- Conduct technical risk assessments, mitigation planning, and risk tracking with minimal oversight
- Interface with cross-functional teams (propulsion, software, hardware, GNC, test, quality, safety) to drive requirements closure
- Serve as primary technical point of contact for customer and supplier stakeholders on requirements, verification, and risk

- Technical writing and documentation
- Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, Project)
- SysML modeling and MBSE tools (preferred: Cameo Systems Modeler)
- Missile Defense Agency (MDA) processes and CDRL development
- Reliability and system safety analysis (preferred)
- Multidisciplinary team leadership and stakeholder communication
