About this role
Voyager Technologies seeks a senior Systems Engineer V to lead complex defense system design, integration, and validation efforts across multiple technical disciplines. This role combines deep technical expertise in systems engineering with mentorship responsibilities, requiring authority over requirements management, architecture development, and compliance with MDA standards.
What you'll do
- Define, maintain, and ensure traceability of system and subsystem requirements with full MDA compliance
- Lead system architecture development and execution of verification/validation plans across all program tiers
- Coordinate with propulsion, software, hardware, GNC, and test teams to ensure system-level performance
- Manage technical baseline, change control, and participation in formal design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR)
- Provide MBSE leadership through SysML modeling standards and digital engineering toolchain guidance
- Mentor junior and mid-level systems engineers while serving as primary technical liaison with customers and suppliers
