About this role
Waabi seeks a Test Engineer to develop and execute comprehensive test plans for autonomous vehicles on closed courses and public roads in Phoenix. You'll coordinate with engineers, manage test schedules, operate test vehicles, analyze performance data, and ensure safety compliance across a cutting-edge Physical AI autonomous transportation program.
What you'll do
- Develop and execute test plans on closed courses and public roads in collaboration with engineering teams
- Prepare autonomous test vehicles and systems for testing evolutions
- Generate detailed performance reports and analyze test data using Python or MATLAB
- Coordinate test schedules, resources, and communication between drivers, engineers, and stakeholders
- Operate actor vehicles during test scenarios and evaluate vehicle behavior
- Perform vehicle system inspections, maintenance, and maintain comprehensive records
