About this role
Waabi seeks a Vehicle Reliability Engineer for night-shift operations in Dallas to diagnose and resolve issues in autonomous vehicle testing and real-world operations. You'll combine hardware and software expertise to implement fixes, conduct root cause analyses, and drive reliability improvements across commercial autonomous trucks and robotaxis.
What you'll do
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues during vehicle testing and on-road operations
- Implement temporary fixes and workarounds while maintaining safety and performance standards
- Document all vehicle issues, diagnostic data, and reproduction steps in tracking systems
- Conduct root cause analyses with cross-functional teams using established methodologies
- Perform pre-test and post-test vehicle evaluations and serve as technical contact during testing
- Recommend process improvements and preventive measures to enhance vehicle reliability
