About this role
Wayve seeks a Forensics Engineer to investigate issues across their autonomous vehicle stack, identifying root causes and driving performance improvements. You'll work cross-functionally to analyze fleet data, reproduce problems in simulation, and communicate findings to teams across hardware, software, robotics, and model development.
What you'll do
- Triage on-road data and conduct root cause analysis on recurring AV issues across the full stack
- Analyze fleet data and create visualizations/dashboards to communicate complex technical insights
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, model development, operations, and safety teams
- Develop automated workflows and investigation playbooks to accelerate testing cycles
- Leverage simulation and offline tools to reproduce and debug issues
- Investigate on-road incidents and feed safety lessons back to relevant teams
