About this role
WorldQuant Millennium Advisors seeks a Full Stack Developer to design and maintain internal analytical dashboards and tools. The role combines web development, data analytics, and business analysis to deliver scalable applications supporting product and business workflows across the firm.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, and maintain internal analytical tools and single-page applications using React and component libraries
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions and intuitive user workflows
- Write and optimize SQL queries and leverage data tools like Polars to support reporting and analytics needs
- Support testing, deployment, and CI/CD processes to ensure reliable application delivery
- Enhance existing dashboards for usability, performance, scalability, and maintainability
- Collaborate with stakeholders to improve operational workflows and reporting visibility
What they're looking for
- React and modern web frameworks (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- SQL and relational database design (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
- At least one general-purpose programming language (Python, Java, or C++)
- REST/JSON APIs and middleware service development
- Unix/Linux environment and shell scripting
- DevOps practices including webservers, monitoring, and load balancing
- Data visualization and debugging
- Job schedulers like Airflow or cron
