Wyetech seeks an Application Engineer 3 to design and develop software tools supporting the Secure the Enterprise initiative, focusing on automating security evaluation and authorization processes. This blended junior role involves NiFi engineering, customer onboarding, system monitoring, and operational coordination for federal government clients.

What you'll do

  • Design and develop software tools and subsystems for software reuse and domain analysis
  • Manage software development using formal specifications, data flow diagrams, and CASE tools
  • Develop automation capabilities to shift from manual security evaluation to streamlined authorization processes
  • Support NiFi engineering, customer onboarding, and health/status monitoring
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews and evaluate software products
  • Estimate development costs, schedules, and mentor junior personnel on assigned tasks
