About this role
Wyetech seeks a Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain complex software systems for federal government clients, including analytics platforms, real-time systems, and large-scale data processing solutions. The role requires Unix/Linux expertise, shell scripting proficiency, and experience with configuration management and web services in a federal contracting environment.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, test, and deploy complex software systems based on documented requirements
- Develop and sustain GHOSTGEM's software suite, including implementation and integration with COTS and open-source products
- Review and test software components for adherence to design requirements and document results
- Resolve software problem reports and troubleshoot issues
- Provide input on system design trade-offs, software reuse, and use of open-source or commercial off-the-shelf solutions
- Perform requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components
