About this role

Wyetech seeks a Software Engineer 2 to develop and maintain complex software systems for federal government customers, including analytics platforms, real-time systems, and large-scale data processing solutions. You'll work on innovative technical challenges while contributing to system design decisions and ensuring quality through rigorous testing.

What you'll do

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems including analytics, algorithms, and real-time applications
  • Review and test software components for design compliance and document test results
  • Resolve software problem reports and provide technical solutions
  • Contribute to system design decisions including hardware/software trade-offs and COTS/GOTS evaluation
  • Perform requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual components
  • Work individually or collaboratively within engineering teams
