About this role

Wyetech seeks a Software Engineer 2 to develop and maintain complex software systems for federal government customers, including analytics platforms, real-time systems, and large-scale data processing applications. You'll work on both individual and collaborative projects, applying modern software methodologies while contributing to system design decisions and trade-off analyses.

What you'll do

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems across diverse domains (analytics, algorithms, real-time processing, business systems)
  • Review and test software components for compliance with design requirements and document test results
  • Resolve software problem reports and perform debugging and troubleshooting
  • Contribute to system design with focus on hardware/software trade-offs and COTS/GOTS evaluation
  • Conduct requirements analysis and synthesis from system-level to individual component specifications
  • Work both independently and as part of cross-functional teams on processing-intensive and large-scale data applications
