About this role

Wyetech seeks a full-stack Software Engineer 3 to develop and maintain complex backend web services and analytics systems for federal government customers. You'll work with Java, SpringBoot, cloud infrastructure, and distributed databases while supporting both individual and team-based projects in a security-cleared environment.

What you'll do

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems including analytics, real-time processing, and large-scale data manipulation
  • Design and implement backend web services using Java, SpringBoot, and REST APIs
  • Review, test, and validate software components against design requirements and document results
  • Resolve software defects and problem reports in production systems
  • Contribute to system design decisions involving hardware/software trade-offs and COTS/GOTS evaluation
  • Work with distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and database technologies at scale
