About this role

Wyetech seeks a System Engineer 2 to serve as Technical Team Owner and lead system engineering efforts for a federal analytics platform. You'll drive requirements analysis, system design, and technical integration while managing a small software engineering team supporting critical government mission operations.

What you'll do

  • Analyze user requirements, operational concepts, and system architectures to develop comprehensive requirements specifications
  • Lead system design and development activities with technical oversight of software engineering team
  • Develop and maintain system architecture, design documentation, and systems engineering management plans
  • Guide integration and testing planning, and ensure technical integrity of all deliverables
  • Interface with government customers on technical considerations, issues, and conflict resolution
  • Advise on alternative technical approaches and conduct feasibility studies for new capabilities
