Wyetech seeks a System Engineer 2 in Laurel, Maryland to drive systems engineering excellence for federal government contracts. You'll transform user requirements and architectural concepts into detailed specifications, lead design and development efforts, and maintain technical oversight across complex systems integration projects.

What you'll do

  • Analyze user requirements, concepts of operations, and system architectures to produce comprehensive requirements specifications
  • Lead design and development activities while providing technical guidance on alternative approaches and feasibility studies
  • Develop and maintain system architecture, design documentation, and system engineering management plans
  • Guide system development, implementation planning, and integration/test planning activities
  • Serve as primary technical point of contact with government stakeholders on systems engineering matters, issues, and conflicts
  • Ensure technical integrity and quality of all deliverables within the systems engineering domain
