About this role

SpaceXAI's Power Generation Engineering team seeks a Fluids Engineer to design and build fluid systems for power plants, including fuel gas, ammonia, water, and HVAC systems. You'll apply thermodynamics and fluid flow principles to develop complex piping assemblies and utility systems from concept through activation.

What you'll do

  • Design, build, and activate fluid systems for power generation plants including fuel gas, ammonia, water, compressed air, and HVAC
  • Apply thermodynamics, fluid flow, and control theory to analyze process and utility systems
  • Create CAD models of piping assemblies and perform piping stress analysis
  • Read and develop piping and instrumentation diagrams for complex fluid systems
  • Select and specify components such as valves, pumps, tanks, heat exchangers, and filters
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a flat organizational structure
