About this role

Xometry seeks an early-career engineer to support the Aerospace & Defense solutions team by bridging technical expertise with cross-functional operations. You'll help develop manufacturing solutions through documentation, cost modeling, supplier coordination, and process improvement—while building comprehensive knowledge of the full solution lifecycle.

What you'll do

  • Support quoting and technical documentation for complex customer programs, including BOMs, RFQs, and specification reviews
  • Assist with internal cost-modeling and quoting-tool development to enhance efficiency
  • Coordinate with suppliers on communication, quality tracking, and solution delivery
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings across engineering, sales, and operations
  • Lead a capstone process improvement project such as workflow automation or reporting dashboards
  • Develop and demonstrate design-for-manufacturability best practices across relevant disciplines
