About this role

Xometry seeks an early-career engineer to support solutions engineering for aerospace and defense customers by managing technical documentation, coordinating with suppliers, and developing internal quoting tools. The role bridges engineering, sales, and operations while building expertise across the full manufacturing lifecycle.

What you'll do

  • Support quoting and create technical documentation including BOMs, RFQs, and specification reviews for complex customer programs
  • Assist with internal cost-modeling and quoting-tool development to improve efficiency
  • Coordinate with suppliers, track quality documents, and manage solution lifecycle from award through delivery
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings to understand the full solution lifecycle across engineering, sales, and operations
  • Lead a capstone mini-project to enhance process efficiency such as automating workflows or developing reporting dashboards
  • Develop best practices in manufacturing disciplines relevant to aerospace and defense customers
