About this role

Xometry seeks an early-career engineer to support aerospace and defense solutions by bridging sales, operations, and manufacturing. You'll manage technical documentation, quoting workflows, supplier coordination, and lead process improvement initiatives while gaining cross-functional exposure to the full solution lifecycle.

What you'll do

  • Support quoting, BOMs, RFQs, and specification reviews for complex customer programs
  • Assist with cost-modeling and quoting-tool development to improve efficiency
  • Coordinate with suppliers and track quality documents through the solution lifecycle
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings to understand engineering, sales, and operations workflows
  • Lead a capstone project to automate workflows or streamline documentation processes
  • Develop and demonstrate design-for-manufacturability (DFx) best practices across disciplines
