About this role

Zinnia seeks a Software Engineer III to design and develop innovative software solutions for life and annuity platforms using .NET and cloud technologies. You'll collaborate across global teams, mentor junior engineers, and integrate AI capabilities into production systems while supporting enterprise clients.

What you'll do

  • Design and develop well-tested, efficient code for Life & Annuity Exchange platforms using C#, ASP.NET Core, and related technologies
  • Embed AI capabilities into production software including LLM API integration and prompt engineering
  • Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, handling compute, storage, and serverless services
  • Design, build, and consume secure RESTful APIs with OAuth2 authentication and OpenAPI/Swagger documentation
  • Mentor junior team members on technical and soft skills while acting as a subject matter expert
  • Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and custom enhancements to existing platforms in collaboration with global teams

  • Microsoft .NET (5-7 years): C#, ASP.NET Core, MVC, Web API, Visual Studio
  • AI integration: LLM API integration, prompt engineering, AI-adjacent feature development
  • AWS cloud infrastructure: compute, storage, serverless, observability
  • RESTful API design and development with OAuth2 and OpenAPI/Swagger
  • SQL Server: complex queries, stored procedures, performance tuning, data modeling
  • SOLID principles and advanced design patterns
