About this role

Zip seeks an AI Forward Deployed Engineer to embed within enterprise customers' procurement and legal teams, uncovering operational problems and building custom AI agent solutions using Zip's platform. You'll own a portfolio of strategic accounts end-to-end, combining domain expertise with technical fluency to solve complex workflows and expand contract value.

What you'll do

  • Embed with enterprise customers to map procurement, finance, and legal workflows at the process level
  • Build and deploy custom AI agent solutions using Zip's AppStudio configured to each customer's environment
  • Manage customer relationships across a portfolio of accounts, owning delivery and stakeholder trust
  • Identify and scope the next high-ROI problem before customers articulate it
  • Document architecture decisions and solutions for platform generalization across accounts
  • Conduct on-site testing and stakeholder sessions, feeding learnings back to product and engineering
