Software Engineer III

About this role

ZoomInfo seeks a Software Engineer III to design and deliver full-stack features for their AI-powered sales conversation platform (Chorus), working across responsive UIs, REST APIs, and backend services. You'll provide technical leadership, mentor peers through code reviews, and own features from conception to production in a hybrid role in Bethesda, Maryland.

What you'll do

• Design and deliver customer-facing features across full stack—UI components to backend APIs and services
• Build and iterate AI-powered tools that make sales conversation datasets actionable for users
• Provide technical leadership through architectural input, code reviews, and raising engineering standards
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers to scope and execute roadmap work
• Test, document, and maintain production-quality codebases that scale with business needs

What they're looking for

• Full-stack web development (3–6 years production experience)
• Backend languages: Python or Node.js
• Frontend frameworks: React or Angular
• JavaScript and TypeScript with async programming expertise
• Relational and NoSQL databases: MySQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB
• Search technologies: Elasticsearch and/or Solr
• RESTful API design and backend service development
• End-to-end ownership and technical communication
