About this role
Design and implement safety-critical software development methodologies, tools, and processes for autonomous vehicle systems. Partner across the organization to ensure production software meets rigorous safety standards inspired by avionics and automotive industries.
What you'll do
- Design software development processes and tools for safety-critical autonomous vehicle systems
- Define and enforce safety standards and methodologies across the software organization
- Collaborate with AI autonomy, RTOS, and middleware teams to integrate safety practices
- Establish quality assurance frameworks and verification processes for production vehicles
- Document and maintain safety-critical software development guidelines
- Work cross-functionally to ensure safety compliance from AI systems to low-level middleware
