About this role
Join 10a Labs as a Software Engineer to build secure, scalable infrastructure for AI model evaluations. You'll design sandboxed environments, backend services, and orchestration systems that enable frontier AI labs to safely test autonomous models and agentic systems at scale.
What you'll do
- Design and build sandboxed evaluation environments for safe code execution and tool use by AI models
- Develop backend services and infrastructure supporting large-scale repeatable AI evaluations
- Build agent scaffolding, evaluation harnesses, and tool-use loops with state and context management
- Design secure networking, permissions, and resource isolation for model-driven environments
- Create APIs and internal tools for researchers and domain experts to design and run evaluations
- Improve evaluation reliability through logging, observability, debugging tools, and automated testing
