About this role

66degrees seeks a Cloud Engineer to design, build, and maintain complex GCP infrastructure and data systems for enterprise clients. This is a 4-week remote contract role requiring immediate availability, with focus on scalability, security, and DevOps implementation.

What you'll do

  • Design and implement highly scalable, resilient infrastructure solutions on GCP in collaboration with architects and teams
  • Develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Google Cloud Deployment Manager to automate infrastructure provisioning
  • Establish CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices across cloud environments
  • Implement security controls and ensure compliance with regulations like GDPR and HIPAA
  • Design and maintain monitoring, alerting, logging, backup, and disaster recovery solutions
  • Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and optimize infrastructure; collaborate cross-functionally with data scientists and engineers
