About this role

9 Mothers seeks an IT Support Engineer to manage infrastructure, identity systems, and endpoint management for a defense startup building counter-drone AI systems. You'll own Mac fleet MDM, Entra ID administration, compliance controls, and field deployment support in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

What you'll do

  • Manage Jamf or Intune MDM for Mac fleet deployments, including Apple Business Manager and Declarative Device Management
  • Administer Entra ID commercial and GCC High tenants for user provisioning, groups, and licensing
  • Maintain compliance with CMMC controls, NIST 800-171, and System Security Plans
  • Monitor and operate AI agents and observability stacks (Grafana, Loki, Prometheus)
  • Provide day-to-day technical support to engineering team with rapid triage and issue resolution
  • Pilot and deploy infrastructure changes using version-controlled configurations and controlled rollout processes
