Abnormal AI seeks an Enterprise SLED Sales Engineer to serve as the technical authority in complex enterprise security sales cycles, leading architecture-level discussions with security and identity teams while driving successful Proof of Value engagements for email and identity-threat solutions.

What you'll do

  • Lead technical discovery and architecture-level conversations with security, infrastructure, identity, and compliance teams
  • Own Proof of Value (POV) programs from success criteria definition through execution and outcomes
  • Conduct product demonstrations and competitive landscape research to address customer objections
  • Articulate technical and business value of email and identity security solutions to executive stakeholders
  • Educate sales teams and partners on product capabilities and modern threat landscapes
  • Drive customer satisfaction and successful enterprise-scale implementation outcomes

  • Sales Engineering (5+ years)
  • Technical discovery and architecture discussions
  • Enterprise email security platforms (Proofpoint, Mimecast, Cisco, Barracuda)
  • Microsoft 365 / Exchange Online or Google Workspace administration
  • DNS, TCP/IP, TLS, and enterprise networking concepts
  • Email authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) and SMTP mail flow
  • Cloud identity services (Azure AD, Entra ID, Google Identity)
  • Technical presentation and communication skills
