What you'll do

  • Design and deploy automated assembly systems, test stations, and fixtures from concept through production scaling
  • Develop process control solutions using PLCs, sensors, robotics, and machine vision to optimize manufacturing throughput and quality
  • Conduct manufacturing bottleneck analysis and ROI assessments to prioritize automation projects
  • Integrate hardware and software systems for data collection, process monitoring, and automated test applications
  • Support new product introduction (NPI) builds and transition automation solutions to scalable high-volume production
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, test, design, quality, and software teams to deliver rapid iterations

  • Manufacturing automation design and deployment (3+ years)
  • CAD proficiency (SolidWorks or equivalent)
  • Industrial controls: PLCs, sensors, robotics, pneumatics, motion control
  • Machine vision systems integration
  • Programming: Python or C# for automation and controls
  • GD&T, tolerance stack-up, SPC, and process capability analysis
  • Design for Manufacturing/Automation (DFM/DFA) principles
  • Hardware-software integration for automated systems
