About this role
Accenture Federal Services seeks a Senior Application Security Engineer to lead DevSecOps initiatives, bridging security governance with modern development practices. You'll architect secure CI/CD pipelines, mentor teams on secure coding, and ensure compliance with federal frameworks while enabling rapid, confident code delivery.
What you'll do
- Manage security backlog and mentor team members on secure development practices
- Test web and AI applications for vulnerabilities and provide technical remediation guidance
- Design and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD and Jenkins
- Implement software supply chain controls including SBOM lifecycle management and artifact signing
- Integrate security tools (Snyk, Nexus, JFrog) into developer workflows
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to balance security with development velocity
