About this role

Accenture Federal Services seeks a Cyber R&D Engineer to develop and test cutting-edge software solutions that identify vulnerabilities in adversary systems. You'll conduct vulnerability research, reverse engineer code, integrate vendor tools, and collaborate with mission partners to advance cybersecurity capabilities for the U.S. federal government.

What you'll do

  • Develop and optimize algorithms, scripts, and utility software for vulnerability exploitation research
  • Identify and analyze vulnerabilities in software, hardware, and firmware; conduct threat modeling and risk assessments
  • Evaluate security posture of cyberspace systems including networks, operating systems, and applications
  • Integrate and test tools from external vendors; establish continuous integration/deployment mechanisms
  • Analyze and reverse engineer source code; research emerging cyber technologies like AI, ML, and IoT
  • Generate technical documentation and maintain software lifecycle with customer input on operations and requirements
