About this role
Accenture Federal Services seeks an experienced Cybersecurity Engineer to design and implement DoD-compliant security solutions, manage security controls, and integrate secure practices throughout DevSecOps lifecycles. This role requires deep expertise in federal cybersecurity standards, threat modeling, incident response, and Zero Trust architecture implementation.
What you'll do
- Design and implement DoD-compliant cybersecurity solutions and architectures
- Develop and enforce security policies, conduct risk assessments, and perform compliance audits
- Manage security tools including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and SIEM platforms
- Embed secure coding practices and conduct security testing (static/dynamic analysis, penetration testing, code reviews)
- Lead threat modeling, monitor security events, and execute incident response procedures
- Integrate automated security scans and controls into CI/CD pipelines
