About this role
Accenture Federal Services seeks a Security Engineer to architect and deploy advanced cybersecurity solutions for DoD programs at Hill AFB, Utah. The role focuses on managing security tools like Splunk and Nessus, implementing compliance with RMF and JSIG standards, and automating security processes across enterprise and cloud environments.
What you'll do
- Administer and maintain Splunk Enterprise, Nessus/ACAS, STIG compliance tools, and endpoint protection platforms
- Develop and integrate incident detection and response capabilities, including creating detections and tuning alerts
- Architect and deploy vulnerability management, logging, and patch management solutions across hybrid cloud environments
- Implement security-as-code practices using Ansible, Terraform, PowerShell, Bash, or Python automation
- Engineer DoD cloud security requirements for AWS and Azure in compliance with RMF and JSIG
- Collaborate with security teams on authorization-to-operate activities, documentation, and audit preparation
