Software Engineer

About this role

Accenture Federal Services seeks a Software Engineer with 5+ years of professional experience to design, develop, and maintain software systems for federal government clients in defense, national security, and public safety. You'll update and expand existing programs, manage databases, and support online services while working collaboratively on high-impact projects.

What you'll do

• Update, repair, modify and expand existing computer programs
• Modify existing databases and database management systems
• Write logical and physical database descriptions and specifications
• Collaborate with project teams to coordinate database development and define scope
• Review project requests to estimate time and cost for database work
• Provide on-call support for deployed services
