About this role
ACT Power Services seeks a Solar Portfolio Engineer to serve as the technical liaison for their growing fleet of renewable energy facilities in Dallas, TX. You'll manage performance analysis, client communication, and optimization across solar and storage projects ranging from 500kW to 200+MW, working primarily remotely with occasional site visits.
What you'll do
- Monitor and analyze performance of solar and storage projects using DAS and SCADA systems
- Serve as primary technical contact for assigned facilities and lead client meetings on performance and optimization
- Conduct root cause analysis and develop improvement recommendations for underperforming systems
- Generate site performance reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Develop operational procedures and tools to support fleet efficiency
- Coordinate with plant managers, field operators, and utilities on maintenance schedules and technical issues
