Software Engineer, Product & Platform

About this role

Adaptive Security is hiring a full-stack Software Engineer to build core product and platform systems for their AI-era security platform. You'll own end-to-end features serving 1,200+ customers, working across backend services, detection pipelines, and user interfaces while collaborating closely with product and design teams.

What you'll do

• Build end-to-end systems for preventing AI-powered social engineering attacks
• Own customer-facing workflows, simulation capabilities, or new product launches from conception to deployment
• Drive product strategy by translating ambiguous customer problems into technical solutions
• Ship and operate high-quality production software with focus on simplicity and maintainability
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and engineering on architecture decisions
• Mentor teammates and contribute to raising engineering standards across the organization

What they're looking for

• Full-stack software development (3+ years production experience)
• Backend services and detection pipeline design
• Java, Spring Boot, TypeScript, React, PostgreSQL, AWS (preferred)
• Enterprise SaaS product development
• System design and technical decision-making
• Clear communication and cross-functional collaboration
• Startup or high-growth environment experience
