About this role

A Y Combinator-backed AI startup is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to own end-to-end customer deployments of agentic AI solutions for the acquisitions and private equity space. You'll blend technical expertise in data pipelines and LLM integration with direct customer engagement, working autonomously on high-impact implementations.

What you'll do

  • Own full-lifecycle customer deployments including scoping, data ingestion, pipeline development, and optimization
  • Design and deliver data pipelines, ETL workflows, and integration systems for complex business requirements
  • Collaborate with core engineering team to build and extend the agentic AI platform
  • Translate business problems into autonomous software solutions using LLM APIs
  • Engage directly with mid-market and large-cap customers to identify expansion opportunities
  • Support go-to-market initiatives through sales calls and technical customer interactions
