Product Quality Engineer, Small Drones
About this role
Anduril Industries seeks a Senior Product Quality Engineer to establish and execute quality processes for small drone products, particularly the Bolt system. You'll oversee product development from design through manufacturing, manage reliability testing, and drive continuous improvement across the product lifecycle.
What you'll do
- Execute Product Development Process activities across NPI phases, coordinating with Systems, Electrical, Mechanical, Software, and Test engineering teams
- Lead inspection, acceptance testing, verification, validation, and qualification for quad-copter drones and sub-assemblies
- Resolve quality ambiguities related to product maturity, process stability, and field performance impacting production readiness
- Own Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) product disposition and conduct root cause analysis with Reliability Engineering
- Lead Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA), Material Review Board (MRB) activities, and inspection process performance reviews
- Manage Government Source Inspections (GSI), Mandatory Inspection Points (GMIP), and DCMA Process Evaluations
