About this role
Advanced Space seeks a Navigation Engineer with 2-5 years of experience to develop spacecraft navigation algorithms and conduct analyses for lunar and deep-space missions. You'll support high-impact projects like CAPSTONE and Oracle while working with a multidisciplinary team in Westminster, Colorado on an on-site basis.
What you'll do
- Develop and refine spacecraft navigation algorithms and estimation formulations
- Perform orbit determination analyses and covariance assessments for mission scenarios
- Configure force models, measurement models, and filter architectures
- Process and evaluate radiometric, optical, GPS, and tracking data
- Conduct filter diagnostics, data editing, and residual analysis
- Support ground and flight software algorithm development through scripting and analysis workflows
