Controls Engineer
About this role
ATS seeks a Controls Engineer to test, modify, and optimize industrial control systems in factory environments. You'll collaborate across teams to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, ensure regulatory compliance, and support technical training while developing business proposals.
What you'll do
- Test, modify, and troubleshoot existing control systems and equipment
- Review and improve procedures and technical documentation
- Analyze operational data and report findings to management and staff
- Collaborate with design, operations, and procurement teams on technical solutions
- Provide troubleshooting support for mechanical and electrical issues
- Train employees and customers on control systems and best practices
