Adyen is seeking a Senior Java Software Engineer to build foundational financial infrastructure for their rapidly growing Financial Products team. You'll work on complex, large-scale systems handling card issuance, capital access, and ledger management across multiple jurisdictions, with opportunities to impact millions of users within weeks of joining.

What you'll do

• Design and implement complex financial features from requirements through production launch
• Build scalable APIs and financial tooling adhering to performance and code quality standards
• Architect and improve platform components for robustness and distributed system scalability
• Collaborate across teams and time zones to deliver mission-critical financial products
• Identify platform bottlenecks and lead optimization initiatives
• Balance rapid iteration cycles with the rigor required for global financial compliance
