About this role

Aechelon Technology seeks an early-career Associate Platform Engineer to support hardware integration, qualification, and lifecycle maintenance of computing platforms. You'll assemble, configure, test, and troubleshoot workstations, servers, and embedded systems while executing documented qualification procedures and maintaining engineering records.

What you'll do

  • Assemble, configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot prototype and production computer systems including workstations, servers, and embedded platforms
  • Execute functional, compatibility, performance, thermal, and stress-testing procedures and document results
  • Reproduce and troubleshoot hardware, firmware, driver, and system-level issues with escalation as needed
  • Qualify new or replacement components and evaluate proposed hardware changes against technical requirements
  • Support prototype builds, pilot production, first-article evaluation, and manufacturing transitions
  • Maintain engineering records, coordinate cross-functionally with production and quality teams, and manage lab operations
