About this role

AfterQuery, a rapidly scaling applied research lab serving frontier AI companies, seeks a senior software engineer in Latin America to design and build scalable data infrastructure systems. You'll own end-to-end projects that directly impact how foundation models are developed, working alongside a world-class team backed by leading AI researchers and investors.

What you'll do

  • Design and build scalable systems for the AfterQuery Experts platform
  • Collaborate across research, product, and design teams to ship features rapidly
  • Own entire projects end-to-end from architecture to deployment
  • Write clean, maintainable code and contribute to documentation standards
  • Participate in code reviews and lead technical design discussions
  • Solve real-world scalability and reliability challenges in data infrastructure
